Ultimate Adventure and HAF are coming to the IoW

We are very excited to be launching our Ultimate Adventure Days product at Kingswood Isle of Wight this summer, and even more delighted to be offering free places via the UK Government's holiday activities and food (HAF) programme.

This means we are able to provide free Ultimate Adventure Days to 8-16 year-olds that are in receipt of free school meals.

‍

Any HAF-funded child is entitled to a half-day (4 hours, either 9am-3pm or 12pm-4pm) of free activities and lunch, with a full day option available for ‘top up’ fee of just £5.

‍

As well as enjoying classic Kingswood activities – from thrilling high ropes challenges to games and sports, children will also enjoy a hot nutritious meal. It’s a fantastic opportunity for children to try new things, make friends and connect with their peers during the summer.

Non HAF-funded children are also welcome to stay with us for just £24 for a half day or £35 for a full day, and both include a hot lunch.

What is HAF?

The holiday activities and food (HAF) programme provides healthy meals, enriching activities, and free childcare places to children from low-income families, benefiting their health, wellbeing and learning.

Since 2022, the HAF programme has provided 10.7 million HAF days to children and young people in this country. The expansion of the programme year-on-year has meant a total of 5.4 million HAF days provided between Christmas 2022, Easter and summer 2023.
