We take care of everything. Our Experience Experts make planning a group trip super easy, as we take all the stress out of it. With over 35 years’ experience, we know what makes a great residential and how to make your experience amazing; so, you are in safe hands.

We’ll provide you with everything you’ll need including risk assessments and other helpful information, such as a ‘trip launch pack’, and gentle reminders along the way.  

Everything is in one place

There’s no need to travel to activities at Kingswood or to eat out, as everything is conveniently on-site, including comfortable accommodation with en-suite facilities in most adult rooms, food and drink, and free parking. Even gift shops.  

If you want to use a space for your group, we have the facilities to run your own workshops on site.

We love creating brilliant residentials so that every group can get the most out of their stay.

A residential for any group

Uniform groups

Kingswood provides the perfect setting for uniform groups to work towards badges. For example, the Adventure Challenge Award is an ideal badge for Scouts to earn whilst at Kingswood; with access to adventure activities including abseiling, climbing, canoeing and rafting.

Youth groups

Youth groups really benefit from a Kingswood experience, by forging stronger bonds and building confidence. Stepping out of your comfort zone and taking on activity challenges, such as, flying through the air on our 3G swing or jumping off our ‘leap of faith’ can have such a positive impact on self-belief. We find youth groups gain so much from their Kingswood residential.

Sports groups

Whether you would like to host a tournament at Kingswood or bring teams together for pre-season training or team building. A selection of our centres are fully equipped with sports facilities including basketball and netball courts, large sports halls and water sports.

National Citizen Service (NCS)

NCS groups love the home away from home feeling they get when staying at Kingswood and completing the residential element of their NCS programme. The campus feel of our centres and our super friendly teams create a nurturing environment where young people really flourish and grow in both confidence and resilience.  

Faith groups

Flexible indoor spaces including classrooms, large halls and lounges can be used for prayer and worship, and are always accessible to faith group members. Our kitchen facilities at a number of our centres can also be exclusively used by faith groups, as well as the opportunity to exclusively hire entire sites.

Corporate groups

An event at a Kingswood centre will certainly leave a lasting impression. At some sites, we have meeting rooms with a view; eco-friendly and purpose-built conference facilities, and access to multiple syndicate rooms. Moments away from our indoor spaces are our adventure activities - a great opportunity to invigorate teams, excite delegates, and create a bit of healthy competition. For larger events and exhibitions, we also offer centres for hire exclusively.

Special interest groups

Do you need space to practice or a hall to perform in? We have a whole host of indoor spaces and large grounds available. Activities can be purposefully selected to compliment your own special interest programme creating the most rewarding experience.
